7 Reasons Sting Vs Kane Is A Bad Idea For WWE

1. Sting Should Be Saved For The Undertaker

Of course he should. It's the conclusion everybody leapt to before Sting was even rumoured to be signing with the WWE. Unlike Kane, Undertaker is equipped with the skills necessary to carry Sting to a decent match (although his recent struggles at WrestleMania 30 could throw this into some doubt). It would also be a far more significant encounter than the less-concrete pairing of Kane and Sting. Both men were among the top stars of their respective companies throughout the nineties, and both captured the hearts of their fans through dark, mysterious personas. This would clearly be the preferable match-up, but Kane's involvement isn't beyond the realms of possibility. A potential solution would be to book 'Taker vs Sting as the Undertaker's final match, and a chance to redeem himself at WrestleMania following his loss to Lesnar. The WWE could build up the importance of the contest, putting over the fact that Undertaker's legacy is at stake: will he go out as a winner or a loser? He could outclass Sting in the match, leading the ex-WCW star to get desperate and look to use his trusty bat (following a ref bump or something). Undertaker's about to get his a** handed to him in his last ever match, it all looks hopeless, when... BOOM! Kane's pyro goes off and he charges down to save his brother. The crowd goes wild, etc, etc. It would be a great way of involving Kane with Sting's foray into the WWE, without relying upon the pair of them to create a memorable feud. The sad truth is, they're simply not able to do so anymore.
