7 Reasons Why The Undertaker Should Retire For Good

3. With The Streak Over, There Is Nothing Left

The Undertaker was 21-0 at WrestleMania heading into his WM30 showdown against Brock Lesnar. Most of us assumed that Undertaker would win the match, move to 22-0 and keep wrestling again or maybe retiring whenever he felt ready. Then he lost. Now that Undertaker is 21-1, what is there for him? Since The Streak is over, there really isn't any other reason to wrestle other than just competing again at WrestleMania. There might be a match that appeals for him, but the mystique of The Undertaker is gone a little bit since he doesn't have that undefeated streak anymore. It will be difficult for Undertaker get motivated to wrestle again. He's had so many matches that he really doesn't need to take more bumps. Let's not pretend like he is going to wrestle more matches at events other than WrestleMania. He's done doing that. The fans are always going to love him whether he wrestles again or not, but the absence of The Streak has changed things. The Streak is one of those things that was special while it was around. Now that it has ended, the mystique is gone a bit and he's just another guy. No disrespect meant, but it's true.
