7 Reasons Why The Undertaker Should Retire For Good

1. Injuries Have Finally Caught Up To Him

The Undertaker has suffered a number of injuries during his career. That's part of the wrestling business. We all know that from watching it and seeing our favorites hurt their bodies all over the place. It's not an easy business and just because the results are predetermined does not mean that the bumps are fake too. There comes a point in somebody's career where it's time to walk away from those injuries. Sometimes guys suffer major injuries like the neck issues that caused Steve Austin and Edge to retire before they turned 40 years old, but in other cases it's just an accumulation of things. Hulk Hogan is 61 years old, yet if you ask him he still wants to wrestle. He loves performer. What's stopping him? All the injuries he's suffered mainly to his hips and his knees. With Undertaker, the serious concussion was already mentioned and there are likely other issues too. His shoulders have given him problems for years and it's said that the shoulder is his biggest problem year after year. His knees are a major concern too. Remember that dive he used to do where he jumped over the top rope with no hands onto an opponent outside the ring? That's probably never going to happen again. Wrestlers have talked about how you know when to stop when the "bump card" is full. In Undertaker's case, there are no empty spots left. That bump card is all filled up. As we sit here three months before WrestleMania 31, don't be surprised if the Undertaker chooses to stay home for the biggest show of the year. It might upset some fans, but for his health and his legacy it might be the smartest decision he's made.
