7 Reasons Why You MUST Watch ALL IN

2. It's A Show For The Dave Meltzer Crowd, AND His Trolls

Dave Meltzer is weirdly over in 2018. John Cena used to define the divide between the wrestling fandom, and now it's Uncle Dave.

Some cherish the institution that is the exhaustive and prescient Wrestling Observer Newsletter, and have used it to inform and enrich their wrestling fandom. If Dave awards a match with a ***** rating, people pay attention. It is, at a minimum, a CliffsNotes inroad into pro wrestling's amazing historical and international expanse. At his best, Meltzer is an intrepid journalist and influential tastemaker.

Others...seem to despise the man under the belief that, because he wasn't there, his opinion counts for nothing. But who told you that World War II wasn't a nice time: Winston Churchill, or your history teacher?

ALL IN unifies the wrestling fandom because the very show materialised because of him. Dave was asked on Twitter whether or not ROH was capable of filling a 10,000 seat arena. "Not anytime soon," came his reply. Cody took Dave up on the $1 bet, and ALL IN is the result. Even though Meltzer does this in every Observer some clearly do not read, he will admit that he was wrong in the first paragraph of next week's issue.

He might even make an appearance on the show in a skit of sorts, in which he hands over the dollar and kisses the ring, but best not hand him the mic.
