Going with the night after WrestleMania story line, after The Nexus attacks Daniel Bryan, RAW leaves us with a cliffhanger ending. Michael Cole would be irate and asking why have The Nexus reformed and why have they attacked Daniel Bryan? Wade Barrett would explain the following week on RAW, that The Authority approached them with the idea to reform and become an asset to them. Barrett along with the other members could not pass up this opportunity to move ahead in the WWE, with The Authority's backing. Since The Shield have become a liability, Triple H and Stephanie needed a group that could take care of the dirty work for them. They start by attacking Daniel Bryan, who defeated Triple H at WrestleMania, and would also focus on taking out The Shield for turning their backs on them.
