7 Reasons Why WWE Is Ruining Bray Wyatt

1. His Mystique Has Been Badly Tarnished

As it stands at the beginning of August 2014, Bray Wyatt is in a feud with Chris Jericho that has no story and no drama to it, over a month in. His two terrifying henchmen, meanwhile, have feuded with the Uso brothers for no real reason so much this summer that it€™s starting to look like they have a crush on them, like the boys that pull girls€™ pigtails in the playground. Bray Wyatt€™s magnetic aura has been dampened, his charisma nearly snuffed. Right now, only Rotunda€™s fierce talent is keeping the character moving. It would have helped if a minor babyface or two had been successfully brainwashed at the beginning and joined the Family. A swelling in the ranks would have given the impression of a genuine movement, and made Bray€™s violent prophesies seem more persuasive. It€™s still not too late for that, though. Maybe Justin Gabriel, or Tyson Kidd; perhaps even Sami Zayn, another bearded NXT star deserving of a main roster run. If he later rebelled against his conditioning, perhaps a new babyface star could be born. It worked in similar fashion for Batista in Evolution, after all. But Bray Wyatt needs a kickstart, something to make people believe in him again. Blowing off this awful feud with Jericho would be a start. Perhaps a feud with the rudderless Cesaro? Or the dream angle: the lunatic fringe Dean Ambrose taking on the divine madness of the Wyatt Family? Only time will tell whether WWE have the wherewithal to save the Wyatts from their bad booking choices€ Agree? Disagree? Let us know in the comments below!
