Throughout WrestleMania history, there have been some seriously short matches. At the very first event, King Kong Bundy pinned SD Jones in 24 seconds, for example. Beating that record are the likes of Sheamus defeating Daniel Bryan (18 seconds) at 'Mania XXVIII and Kane's win over Chavo Guerrero (11 seconds) at 'Mania XXIV.

Brief bouts are nothing new for WWE on the grand stage, but WrestleMania 32 featured a match that topped the lot in terms of brevity. At first, it seemed like Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson was coming out solely to greet the crowd and announce a new attendance record. That did happen, but he also worked a brief bout against Erick Rowan.

Following a swift Rock Bottom, Rowan stared at the lights as The Rock pinned him after a reported 6 seconds. This makes the match the shortest in WrestleMania history, beating out the previous record holder (Kane vs. Guerrero) by 5 seconds.

It's obvious that WWE wanted to trumpet this new record, because ring announcer Lilian Garcia announced the match time upon declaring The Rock the winner.
