7 Stars Who Turned Down WWE Contracts

4. Cody Hall, Son Of Hall Of Famer Scott Hall

wikiwikiCody Hall has a whole lot going for him to be so young in his professional wrestling career. At only two years in to his career, he's 23 years old, stands 6 feet, 9 inches tall, and weighs 250 pounds. With size being a major hurdle that many in wrestling have to overcome, he's set in that department. Oh yeah, his father is WWE Hall of Famer and NWO original, Scott "Razor Ramon" Hall. By the way, he gets in ring and psychology advice from former WCW champion Diamond Dallas Page, and Hall of Famer Jake "The Snake" Roberts. That seems like it would help. Despite having all of these tools at his disposal, Cody Hall seems as if he's in no rush, and is willing to earn his way to the top. Earlier this year, Hall revealed that he turned down a WWE developmental contract, in order to sharpen his skills and pay his dues elsewhere. The contract is supposedly still there for him whenever he changes his mind, but his attitude regarding the subject seems pretty promising.
