So it's safe to say Seth Rollins has had an absolute whopper of a run as Intercontinental Champion, and it's only been a few weeks. From standout performances with both The Miz and Finn Balor, as well as overall improved promos, he's restored the title to a respectability not seen in a long times (yes, yes, Miz is a great talker, but the IC title was more a prop with him).
However, if Seth is to graduate from the midcard, he needs to pass the IC torch to an up-and-comer who will utilize it well, and serve as a potential opponent down the line when Seth finally gains the Universal title. A shortlist of names includes the likes of Drew McIntyre, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, and, of course, his former tag partner Jason Jordan. Seth can naturally have a great match with any of them, and they could all ascend to main event status to feud with Seth as Universal Champion.
