Mercedes Moné Loses ANOTHER Title... (AEW News)

Mercedes Moné is down to 'just' Two-Belts Moné after losing the PTW Women's Title.

The downward spiral of Mercedes Moné continued this past weekend, as AEW's CEO lost yet another championship...

At PTW More Moné, More Problems in Koslow, Poland yesterday, Mercedes lost the PTW Women's Title to Diana Strong. Moné had become the inaugural PTW Women's Champion last July after defeating Strong for that prize, and this title loss marks Mercedes' first defence of that slice of gold.

For those keeping track, this now brings Mercedes Moné down to Two-Belts Moné. Well, technically, Three-Belts Moné, if you include the title given to the winners of the Owen Hart Cup, which is something that Mercedes has done during her Ultimo Moné run.

As for the rest of her championships, Mercedes Moné lost the ROH Women's TV Title to Red Velvet in December; the RevPro Undisputed Title to Alex Windsor later that same month; the AEW TBS Title to Willow Nightingale to round out the year; the CMLL Women's Title to Persephone earlier this month; the Beastya Women's Title to Swan shortly after that; the EWA Women's Title to Mila Smidt; and dropped both the Discovery Wrestling Women's Title and the Bodyslam Women's Title to Alexxis Falcon just over a week ago.

Up next for Mercedes Moné, she puts the WPW Women's Title on the line against Jody Threat on Tuesday, with Threat being the person Mercedes defeated for that belt back in October in an excellent match. Away from that, the other title left in Moné's possession is the APAC Women's Title that she beat Nor Phoenix Diana for at HOG x The Big Event SuperClash in November.

Amidst all of this, Mercedes has recently teased her return to AEW programming. And with Moné competing in Winnipeg for WPW this Tuesday, and with this week's Dynamite taking place from Winnipeg the following day, there seems like a very strong chance we'll be seeing the Blueprint back imminently.
