7 Tag Teams AEW Should Sign
4. NZo And CaZXL (The Free Agents)
Just a few months ago, this seemed like a near definite-possibility for the future of these two. But after Enzo started a (debatable) real-life feud with Joey Janela, things seemingly got all too real. CaZXL had the now infamous altercation at the WrestlePro event with Joey, and that lead to a subsequent (and seemingly very genuine) apology.
Luckily for these two, they are in the wrestling business. A land of endless amounts of opportunities, if you are famous enough. And given the heat they received from their worked shoot with ROH at their G1 Supercard, they certainly are still fresh in the minds of wrestling fans.
Although perhaps not the most talented in ring performers, there is a clear charisma and magnetism to this pair. And what a better way to exploit the hardcore nature of the AEW fan base than by bringing in these guys to be a mega heel tag team?
And with Chris Jericho revealing his Inner Circle stable on Dynamite this week, they may have a great way in. It already feels very similar to nWo due to the various different promotions they all come from.
Solidifying that with two former WWE guys with a ton of established heat to bring to the stable would be a solid win for AEW. And a great redemption for CaZXL (and to a lesser degree, nZo) if he is ready to do so.
