2. The Decision Makers In WWE Change Their Mind A Lot
WWE.comIt's very difficult to sift through wrestling news and rumors without having some doubt about what you read. When news is reported by unnamed sources it makes you wonder where it's coming from. Is the guy that is telling Meltzer or whoever the news they have really plugged in to what Vince McMahon is thinking? We don't know. That guy could be lying or doing something that Vince told him just because he wanted to work the internet fans. There are things that I've read that said this person is returning on this date or that person is going to beat that person and then when I watch the show it's completely different. Remember when Christian returned to WWE after his TNA run and he was going to come back to go after Jeff Hardy? Instead, they changed it to Matt Hardy. The reason given was too many people seemed to know it was going to be Christian. Then Christian had to go to ECW. It was a letdown. Look at the turn of Seth Rollins on The Shield. It sure didn't seem like that was a long term plan. They just did it because the program was becoming stale. They needed to do something different. I'm glad they did, but it's not like that was some long term plan that we all knew about. What should you do? Take everything with a grain of salt. Don't believe every news story you read. When I write about them I always try to make a point to say that things can change. Maybe WWE wants to put one person over another on Tuesday, but by the time they get to Sunday that opinion could be different. We know McMahon is the final decision maker and we know that Triple H is his number two, but we don't know everything else about the creative process. Read about wrestling all you want, but don't believe all the news you read as if it is 100% truth. It's not necessarily the fault of the "news" guys either. Often times it's a creative thing.
