6. A Lesson For No Way Jose

In truth, I would have absolutely no problem with No Way Jose winning this match. Actually, that may very well be the best way for this to go. The story to be told with Aries losing is fairly simple, and can continue adding to his frustrations. Either Jose wins and Aries goes mad, or Aries wins after a long, brave fight from the big-haired dancing man.

What is important is that No Way Jose pays attention during the match and learns every single thing he can. This is a true Performance Center vs. Ground-Up Veteran match, and regardless of the result Jose is in a position to hone his craft here. He's impressed more than most expected, and working with a man with the experience of A Double could do great things for him.

It isn't the biggest match on the card, but it is the perfect match for No Way Jose at this point in his career. If that career turns out to be a lengthy one, he could look back on this as a pivotal moment.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
