6. The New Day And The Dudley Boyz Must Have A Clean Finish
Two times The New Day have defended their tag titles against Bubba Ray and D-Von, and twice they have retained them through chicanery and dirty work. Whether it is Xavier Woods pulling referees out of the way or using his trust trombone, almost every collision between these two teams has seen the boys from Dudleyville on top, only for New Day to survive. As such, I don't care who wins here as long as it is clean. If the time is right for The Dudley Boyz to win their 10th set tag titles in the company, let them do it here and let them do it clean as a whistle. If The New Day can continue their run as the most enjoyable thing on the program, give them a clean win over the veterans. If the match ends in a DQ or a count-out or something similar in order to get them all to TLC, I'm slowly going to be making more questionable gestures with my hands. Give Bubba and D-Von the clean win here, put them all in a traditional Survivor Series elimination match next month before going knee-deep in nostalgia at Tables, Ladders and Chairs (and Stairs?).
Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
