7 Things That Must Happen At WWE Hell In A Cell

It's Hell in a Cell time but who's going to go over?

As WWE enters its October special event, the once-special but now-a-bit-tired Hell in a Cell, the company is in a rather intriguing position. The usual slow summer is drawing to an end, and with it all of the flyover feuds that many find themselves in. The usual trading of wins back and forth over the warm months can come to an end, and we as fans can start pencilling in our WrestleMania cards. As such, there are certain things that simply must happen at the Staples Center this Sunday, for the good of the company and the wrestlers within it. None of these are out of left-field, to say the least. Most are merely logical decisions, for a company that is undeniably struggling with regards to ratings and also struggling when it comes to keeping the interest of even the most die-hard of fans. Seven matches are currently booked for the main show, along with a single pre-show match featuring all the vaguely important guys not on the main card...

7. Kevin Owens Must Retain The Intercontinental Title

I mean, come on, this is surely a no brainer? Kevin Owens took the IC Title from The Ryback last month at Night of Champions, and the feud has continued on into another month because WWE, but there is no way anyone with sound mind can justify Ryback winning here, right? Owens has to retain, Owens will retain, Owens must retain. I have argued before that he is the man to bring credibility back to the Intercontinental Championship, and he's already begun that with his fresh little matches on RAW over the last few weeks against The Lucha Dragons and Mark Henry. Owens must win, and in convincing fashion. Ryback suffered a summer of being emasculated by John Cena and still remains a popular figure with the crowd. A clean loss to one of the best guys in the company won't harm him.
