In the days and weeks leading up to UFC 203, CM Punk talked about his "Cleveland Curse" - or at least, the curse that seemed nag him when wrestling in Cleveland.

Incredibly, the Quicken Loans Arena, where UFC 203 was held, is the exact same arena Punk walked out of when he quit the WWE over two years ago. Cleveland is also the same city where his original WWE debut (alongside Mickie James) was cancelled, and where Bob Holly once punched him in the eye. Not to mention he was once forced to vacate a WWE title there.

So is Punk really cursed in Cleveland? Well, Punk downplayed the curse in his interview with Ariel Helwani, saying he doesn't believe in such things. However, he has now lost his UFC debut there, so - maybe?
