Although the pair have only been an official item for the best part of six months, Seth Rollins describes current belle Becky Lynch as "the love of my life", which is just sweet as sugar, isn't it? This probably isn't the intoxicating tonic of early-stage loveydoveness talking; Seth recounts how there was a certain spark between the two, but that they were sensibly hesitant to move things forward since they worked together. You don't sh*t where you sit, and all that.

In the end, he just thought, "ah, b*llocks to it", and they began dating. Ironically, work would become personal, as opposed to the other way around, once WWE realised firstly how popular the news of Seth and Becky's status was, and secondly how much they could exploit it to benefit both - and in particular, the Universal Champ.

Rollins has understandable reservations about making his private life the storyline, but that was the price for mixing business with pleasure. Besides which, he can hardly say no. After Extreme Rules, he was worried people might be a bit grossed out by Becky slapping his arse in celebration. Not as such: it was just well cringe.
