7 Things We Want To See From Brock Lesnar's UFC 200 Return
5. A Patented Lesnar Takedown
As a fighter, Brock Lesnar is a great wrestler.
Look, Lesnar's never going to win any awards for his striking. He doesn't use his reach effectively, his head movement is stiff, his footwork far from fluid. He's got a sluggish standup game that is used mostly to set up his takedowns, but frankly, in his early career, those were enough.
Why? Because they were the most explosive takedowns in the heavyweight division, if not the sport. Lesnar, for a man who cut weight to make 265lbs, was extremely quick, extremely explosive, and getting hit with a takedown attempt by him was akin to getting hit by a moose at full gallop.
And that's what fans want to see from Lesnar at UFC 200 - one more explosive shot in, one more violent takedown.
