7 Things We've Learnt From WWE Network's Tables For 3
2. Jake Roberts Stayed With DDP Many Years Prior
The WCW Legends is an interesting one for a number of reasons. First things first, Vader comes across as one of the loveliest men you could hope to meet, a world apart from his Clubbing Bear wrestling persona. Secondly, Vader, Sting and DDP don't seem to be able to agree on stories, and because it is a WWE show they take a few opportunities to bury WCW along the way. Jake Roberts comes up, and his recent history with Diamond Dallas Page is fairly well documented. Indeed, DDP is credited with saving Jake's life. They talk of DDP's work with Jake, but it turns out that he actually stayed with Page and his family years prior. DDP, Jake and Kevin Nash were driving together, and when Roberts split up with his wife he stayed with Page. This set up ended when Roberts managed to lose a 13-foot snake in Page's home. Whoops.
Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
