7 Things All WWE Fans Are Anxiously Waiting For

7. If Brock Lesnar Will Be Champion And What It Will Mean

A potential WWE World Heavyweight Championship victory by Brock Lesnar is on the minds of fans because it has been ten years since he held the WWE Title, and since his comeback in 2012 he hasn't received a title shot even though he's one of the biggest names in the company. The reason for that is obviously down to his limited schedule. Lesnar's current WWE deal, which is going on year three, sees him work only 4 PPV matches in a calendar year with anywhere from 20-25 total appearances. While we don't know exactly how much he's getting paid by WWE, it's likely anywhere between $2-5 million per year. They're not going to tell us, but we know it has to be a significant amount of money. Since Lesnar will change Cena for the WWE Title at SummerSlam on August 17 there's a question of what happens to him if he wins it? There's a chance he could agree to wrestle at more shows. He's supposed to be at Night of Champions in September, but we don't know anything for sure after that. If he's holding the gold, he should be on PPVs. If he isn't, how can WWE really have three or four PPVs without the WWE Title on the line? It's hard to convince people to buy WWE Network without putting WWE Title matches on there. We want to know what might happen if Lesnar is the WWE Champion, though we likely won't get any answers until it actually happens, so it's very much wait and see with this one.
