7 Things WWE Must Do To Improve Network Subscription Numbers

2. Cross Promotion With Mainstream Companies

In July 2013, Jay-Z partnered with Samsung to distribute 1 million free copies of his album, Magna Carta Holy Grail. Everyone that purchased the Samsung Galaxy smartphone had access to his album 72 hours before it was set to drop in stores. WWE Network is available on many platforms such as Xbox One, PS4, Apple TV, Android Tablets, iPads, Laptops & mobile devices. WWE must attempt to partner with someone like Apple or Playstation to equip the WWE Network as a part of a purchase of one of their products. €œBuy a Playstation 4, and get a free subscription to WWE Network!€€would be the tagline. WWE would have to link itself to new products for this to be as successful as possible. The network subscription would be free initially, and the funds would already be covered by the deal between WWE and the distributing company. WWE would invest a free 6 months to a year with a customer in hopes they would stay on until it was time for them to commit the monthly payment. In the long run, WWE wins either way. Furthermore, not only would it be financially beneficial, it would push WWE into mainstream consciousness without even trying. By attaching their product to everyday devices such as smartphones and TV€™s, The WWE Network itself becomes an everyday device.
