7 Things WWE Need To Stop Doing Every WrestleMania

2. Pressing The Soft Reset Button Afterwards

Listen to Michael Cole harp on over the years and you'd believe that WrestleMania is something of a season finale for WWE. Once the lights have dimmed, the stadium has emptied and 'Mania is over, the company look to move on and sustain some momentum that carries them through the challenging post-WrestleMania/pre-SummerSlam period.

No other television show that speaks of season finales acts this way.

Imagine a program like Game Of Thrones teased a finale only to say, 'just kidding, please tune in tomorrow for more, only without some of the characters you've seen in featured stories on this show we've pretended is a blow-off'. That wouldn't happen, so why does it happen in WWE?

Granted, WWE works differently to regular shows, but they're the ones who tease finality only to press the soft reset button 24 hours later on Raw without many of the major names lapsed fans may have enjoyed at WrestleMania. It's baffling to do things this way, and it renders post-'Mania pay-per-views (like Backlash) a little redundant.
