7 Things WWE Will Continue To Tease But Never Deliver On

5. Giving Dolph Ziggler And Cesaro Main Event Level Pushes

The start-and-stop pushes WWE is known for has killed the careers of so many individuals, many of whom have left the company. Guys like Cody Rhodes, Wade Barrett and Ryback were all once in a position where it looked like they were always on the cusp of greatness, but could never break through the glass ceiling. So they left.

Dolph Ziggler and Cesaro are in a similar spot, yet they remain under contract to WWE.

They might have their own reasons for wanting to stay, but from a fan perspective, we need to stop thinking that these two are ever going to get beyond a certain level, especially Ziggler. He is a picture-perfect example of a guy who had the fans on his side (when he wasn't supposed to) time and time again. When the chance came for WWE to make a main event star out of him in late 2014, they squandered it.

That same year, Cesaro won the Andre the Giant Battle Royal and was paired off with Paul Heyman ... before going on to do nothing of note whatsoever. Let's face it: even with two world titles active in the company, Ziggler and Cesaro will never again wear world championship gold in WWE.
