Jim Ross is arguably the greatest commentator in the history of professional wrestling. Good ol' JR was the voice of WWE television throughout the Attitude Era along with the Ruthless Aggression days, and his voice carried a huge amount of credibility along with it.

He was loyal to the company too, and has always given the impression of being a true company man.

One constant throughout his on-screen career was the total disdain that he would receive from none other than the boss himself, Vincent Kennedy McMahon.

The laundry list of things McMahon has done to JR is long to say the least, from inducting him in to the Kiss My !*$% club, mocking his Bells Palsy condition on television, berating other aspects of his appearance and more.

As far as I'm aware, JR never once got his payback. Sure, he may have reacted in an excited manner when someone was giving McMahon a whipping in the ring, but vicarious payback isn't really payback.

JR is no longer with the company and is unlikely to return in an on-screen capacity, so the chances of retribution here are slim to none.

So remember kids; the McMahons never, ever lose.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
