7 Times Vince McMahon Thought WWE's Royal Rumble Sucked

Let's get ready to stumble.

Vince McMahon Royal Rumble

It's tradition.

Every January, WWE stage the launch point for their 'Road To WrestleMania' by cramming as many wrestlers as they can onto the card and delighting traditionalists with the Royal Rumble. The event is cherished by millions for its drama, surprises and impact on 'Mania. In fact, some probably prefer it to the spring spectacular.

Sometimes, despite all that history and tradition, the boss still thinks it sucks.

Vince McMahon is notoriously hard to please, and he's not the kind of leader who keeps thoughts to himself when he doesn't think things are going well. The Rumble, for the most part, has been a happy time for McMahon, but that hasn't always been the case. There are times when Vinnie Mac likely tossed his headset to one side, glared at an employee and dared someone in the room to sneeze so he had an excuse to rip their head off.

As enjoyable as the Rumble has been since the late-80s (and as much as McMahon himself surely enjoyed winning it in 1999), it has also caused him to tear some of that perfectly coiffed hair out in frustration...
