7 Times WWE Cast Doubt On Finn Bálor's Future
1. Getting Destroyed By The Devil's Favorite Demon
Veterans such as Kane no longer need to defeat top superstars or win titles. Instead, they are best placed in feuds with up-comers who could use a little extra push.
WWE knows this, and that's why Kane came back to help out with Braun Strowman. However, WWE forgot about how it looks when another future star is pummeled by a much older, somewhat bloated, semi-retired wrestler in the process.
Unfortunately, Bálor played the role of pawn during Kane's rivalry with Strowman and lost cleanly to the 'Big Red Machine' one night removed from stealing the show in a bout with AJ Styles.
A week later, Kane wrecked him on the RAW stage. And a little less than a month afterward, 'The Devil's Favorite Demon' once again demolished 'The Demon King,' although Bálor did manage to pick up the DQ win.
It's difficult to believe WWE sees Bálor as their future when he is being fed to someone else's jobber.
