7 Times WWE Missed Opportunities With Sasha Banks

3. WrestleMania 32

The triple threat between Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch for the WWE Women’s Championship is an exceptional showcase of talent and one of the best women’s matches in WWE history... despite its flaky finish.

The decision to give the belt to Charlotte was questionable. The Queen is an undeniable talent, but Banks was once again riding a tidal wave of momentum heading into the Show of Shows. After attacking Charlotte at the Royal Rumble and making her championship intentions clear, fans were behind The Boss one hundred per cent and wanted nothing more than to see her dethrone the villainous Flair on the Grandest Stage of Them All.

Sasha could have had her moment of triumph whilst still moving the narrative forward in her feud with Charlotte, whose credibility as the last ever Divas Champion was not in jeopardy. Instead WWE Creative decided to opt for another Ric Flair interference and one more title reign for The Queen, as Banks and Lynch fell short in one of the biggest matches of their career.
