The Game and Zayn recently clashed at a house show in Paris, France, where Triple H teamed up with Kevin Owens to take on Zayn and Dean Ambrose in a well-worked and well-received main event. Sami was in there for the bulk of the contest and had several spirited exchanges with the WWE COO.

Triple H is one of the men responsible for Zayn's hiring, subsequent push on NXT television and promotion to the main roster. They have a history, and Trips is something of a mentor to the man who definitely didn't used to wrestle as El Generico.

There's a built-in story there, waiting to be told and the in-ring action would no doubt be superb. Triple H's vicious and methodical style would blend perfectly with Zayn's high-flying and energetic assault. If Zayn continues to progress at the level he is currently, a match with him and the 14-time World Champion might just be on the cards.
