7 Unanswered Questions About WWE Right Now

4. Why Did Brie Bella Turn Hell Again? Seriously. That Didn't Need To Happen...

OK. So let's see here. WWE's E! Network program Total Divas is totally being incorporated into storylines. On said show, there exists a comfortable babyface/heel releationship between Brie Bella and her sister Nikki. Thus, the logical thing to do is to push Brie as a babyface separated from Nikki for six months, then inexplicably (to both Total Divas and to the in-ring show, too) have them rejoin just because "they are sisters and they always have each other's backs." Ummm, no. On one level, Brie and Nikki joining forces again makes sense on a marketing level because the Bella Twins are being marketed together (even though "Brie Mode" and "Fearless Nikki" are separate concepts under the same brand). This is ultimately ridiculous because from an in-ring standpoint, Brie is far more believable as a babyface, while her physically larger sister is growing into being a more-than-serviceable bully of a heel. Damn the corporate machinations, for the betterment of the in-ring product (which should always be the most important consideration), Brie Bella as a heel is not exactly what's "best for business."
