Wardlow's brutal destruction of Logan Laroux existed to create another standoff with Christian Cage and Luchasaurus, but the squash was yet another step in the TNT Champion's long journey back to the position he was in about 12 months ago.
Working with confidence again, Wardlow adding Armed Anderson's gun taunt before finishing his feckless opponent was a nice nod to 'Double A', not least considering the difference the Horseman seems to have made while stood by his side.
Of note, Cage confirmed that he'd be the one wrestling for the title rather than his 'Right Hand Of Destruction', teeing up a match that might actually be better than the projected monster mash between the two behemoths. Wardlow conquering either of them down the road should continue his steady re-ascension.
