7 Ups & 1 Down From NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver Night 2

Down...

1. It’s Over

Obviously, this is hardly the most serious 'Down' you'll ever see.

WWE also can't do anything about the fact that TakeOver: Stand & Deliver is over, but man...yours truly wishes it wasn't. The company put on two awesome nights of quality wrestling here, and NXT's roster should be proud of what they achieved inside the humble Capitol Wrestling Center.

WrestleMania has the hype and the platform, but it might struggle to be better than the past two nights in-ring. That really says it all. Though it's true that NXT isn't quite the cult-like beast it was before AEW's Dynamite came along and booted it squarely in the balls, there are chinks of light on the horizon.

Hopefully, the brand's move to Tuesdays will let WWE focus on making the show better rather than jousting with Tony Khan every week for ratings. Stand & Deliver was one almighty step in the right direction for the crew. The future looks bright.
