7 Ups & 1 Down From WWE SmackDown (14 Feb - Results & Review)
WWE set up WrestleMania 41 matches, more Elimination Chamber fun and 2025's future on SmackDown.

It was Valentine's Day, but there wasn't much love in the air on this week's SmackDown.
Charlotte Flair picked out Tiffany Stratton as her WrestleMania 41 opponent, Kevin Owens challenged Sami Zayn for a match in Toronto at Elimination Chamber, Jacob Fatu got some answers from Solo Sikoa before things fell apart again, Trish Stratus became Tiffany Stratton's new bestie, and Damian Priest qualified for the men's Chamber bout in a searing main event.
Meanwhile, WWE Champ Cody Rhodes is still waiting to find out what he'll be doing on the next PLE. Solo is a strong possibility, but things that happened right at the end of Friday's show could throw a spanner in the works. There won't be too much interest in a rematch between those guys anyway. Fatu taking matters into his own hands and trying to bring gold "back to the family" is a way better plot point. On Jacob: He stacked up well next to top stars like Cody and Drew McIntyre on the mic here.
It's only a matter of time before the 'Samoan Werewolf' takes up permanent residence in the main event scene. He certainly isn't one of several WWE stars in real danger of missing 'Mania. You've got to love what Triple H has been cooking up with Fatu lately.
Overall, this was a really good episode of the blue brand. There's only one 'Down' to report, and even that's avoidable if WWE's creative team bang their heads together a little more in the future. LA Knight has the United States Title challenger spot cornered though, so there isn't much for Carmelo Hayes to do right now.
Here's all the great, the good, the disappointing and the outright bad.
