7 Ups & 1 Down From WWE SmackDown (Dec 11)

Down...

1. Tag Division? What Tag Division?

According to Michael Cole, The Riott Squad are gunning for a shot at the Women's Tag-Team Titles. That's fine, because they should be, but WWE are letting them down badly by having no other full-time female tags on Friday nights. Seriously, not even one.

That's a bummer.

Instead of preparing properly for a shot at Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler, Liv and Ruby are spinning wheels with thrown-together units like Billie Kay and Natalya. That's the main problem with this women's tag division: WWE's own disinterest has ensured that it barely exists.

The fact there isn't even one other actual tag-team on SmackDown really says it all. What next for the Riotts? Squaring off with Kay and Tamina? Don't rule it out, but that's not really enough to make Morgan and Riott viable contenders.
