7 Ups & 10 Downs From WWE Raw (Sep 27)
6. At Least It Was Brief
We’re not about to get on the Karrion Kross bandwagon here, and his matches aren’t really getting much of a reaction, but at least WWE has finally figured out that the way to do something with Kross is to have him win.
Karrion toppled Jaxson Ryker in a short match that saw both men trade strikes and kicks, grappling around clumsily. Kross got the upper hand with an Exploder suplex, then hit his Saito suplex and locked in a really crappy-looking Kross-jacket submission for the tap-out win.
Still, Kross is getting backstage vignettes and is now winning matches, so they’re somewhat building him up, though it remains to be seen if they figure out how to actually heat him up and have him mean something.
Maybe they’ll finally remember they have Scarlett on the payroll and use her.
