7 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Dark (Jul 21)

3. Scorpio Sky vs. Aaron Solow

One of the more intriguing participants on this care was Aaron Solow, who, aside from being engaged to WWE SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley, is a former tag team partner of Ricky Starks. Their Extra Talent-ed act was one of the most entertaining on the mid-tier indies a few years ago and there's a lot AEW could do with a guy like him around.

This match was always going to be good. Scorpio Sky has been in good form on Dark lately, raising his bouts will above the show's usual standard, and Solow is on a different level to most of these enhancement guys. He fights to win rather than show off and genuine nastiness permeates his work, whether he's targeting a body part or flipping his opponent into the turnbuckles. This, coupled with his personality, makes him a highly-watchable squashee.

Sky won via TKO but he was made to work for it. Good stuff here.
