7 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Dynamite (January 17 - Results & Review)

3. God Bless The Briscoes

AEW

Last night's Dynamite marked the one year anniversary of Jay Briscoe's tragic passing.

In a very touching segment, Mark Briscoe came out by the set to remind fans of that and put over Dem Boys. In a quite incredible moment, he also reminded the fans that Jay's daughters were also in the car crash that claimed his life, and that the doctors warned that his eldest daughter, Gracie - having lost movement below her knees - may never walk again. She then walked out, to an enormous pop, and I burst into tears at the strength and perseverance she showed. It was life-affirming, honestly.

A beautiful, beautiful moment.
