7 Ups & 2 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (April 11)

1. Mojo & 'The Gronk'

In one of the Superstar Shake-Up's more predictable moves, Jinder Mahal jumped to SmackDown to help address the brand's newfound lack of enhancement talent. He's a like-for-like replacement for Curt Hawkins, and should play the same role he'd occupied on Monday nights: quick, focused losses designed solely to put the other guy over.

To a certain degree, that's what his "welcome to SmackDown" match with Mojo Rawley was. The (former?) Hype Bro won in just under three minutes, continuing the idea that he's about to be pushed after winning the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, but it was marred by more Rob Gronkowski-based shenanigans.

This was a straight-up retread. As with the Battle Royal, Jinder and 'The Gronk' got into it on the outside, but Mojo interrupted, allowing the New England Patriots player to get revenge on Mahal by throwing a drink in his face. Rawley won shortly afterwards, then jumped into the crowd to celebrate with his buddy, before grabbing JBL's hat and climbing onto the announce table. A completely obnoxious segment, and one that furthers Mojo's status as the most annoying man on SD.
