Logan Paul wasn't at this week's SmackDown. Truthfully, nobody expected him to be there following events at King And Queen Of The Ring; he'll be laying low until either Money In The Bank or SummerSlam build begins, and that's perfectly fine. WWE lined up LP's next chapter anyway.

LA Knight asked for a word with GM Nick Aldis, then made it clear that he wants to challenge Paul for the United States Title. That caused Carmelo Hayes to waltz in and say LA getting a title shot is ridiculous. It looks like Knight and Hayes will be working some sort of number one contender situation soon.

Most fans will be cool with that idea.

This will be a make or break moment in LA's career though. He has to beat Carmelo then beat Logan to grab his first piece of singles gold on WWE's main roster. That's been a long time coming for the one-time Max Dupri. Holding a title high above his head is going to feel unreal for the man.
