7 Ups & 2 Downs From WWE SmackDown (April 28)

Ups....

7. The Bloodline Split Tease

The Usos

Despite reservations about the way WWE continues to format the Draft, this must be said: It was smart to keep The Usos out of The Bloodline's pick announcement for now. They can always join back up with the squad by being drafted to SmackDown on Raw, and their absence adds a ton to the feeling Jimmy and Jey might be ousted by Roman.

Smell the intrigue.

Personally, your writer liked both Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens prodding the brothers for potentially being on the outs. The same could be said for Paul Heyman devilishly saying that The Usos will either live on the "Island Of Relevancy" or be cast out into the "Ocean Of Obscurity". What a line that was.

Jey Uso (in particular) genuinely has unfinished business with Reigns from a few years ago, so it's cool that WWE is playing around with that. They've done a masterful job of prolonging this Bloodline story even with Sami Zayn's honorary status and all that WrestleMania 39 stuff in the rear view mirror.
