7 Ups & 2 Downs From WWE SmackDown (April 28)

2. This Was Damn Good!

Triple H knows what he has on his hands with Butch/Pete Dunne. The 'Brawling Brutes' scrapper is a worthy guide for Ridge Holland in the tag ranks, but can be relied upon to deliver the goods during singles bouts too. This week's tidy match vs. LA Knight was living proof of that.

Both men worked hard, and it was great to see Knight get a much-needed win. If WWE strings a few more of those together and embraces the core audience's apparent wish to organically turn LA babyface, then they could be onto a winner. Let's not Zack Ryder this one, people.

LA wouldn't deserve that indignity.

Again, Butch is the kind of all-rounder who doesn't need a lot of wins as a singles right now. He always does an expert job of managing to look good even in defeat though, which just shows how accomplished he actually is. The Brit did everything he could to make Knight look like the man on Friday.
