7 Ups & 2 Downs From WWE SmackDown (March 26)

Edge loses his damn mind during SmackDown's latest curve on the 'Road To WrestleMania'.

Yours truly still isn't convinced that Edge has gone full-blown heel.

Some will disagree with that, and they might be right, but smacking Daniel Bryan with some steel chair shots isn't quite enough. The comeback king has also been kicking Roman Reigns around, and he even hit several WWE officials with that chair on the latest SmackDown. Don't forget that Daniel has been similarly brash about his 'Mania goals.

This appears to be a guy slowly losing his mind rather than turning to the dark side full time. Of course, that could come - Edge has made it clear that he'll do anything to become Universal Champion at WrestleMania 37. He's also sick to death of Bryan sticking his nose in. Basically, this multi-layered story is one of the best in pro wrestling right now.

It helped make this week's show another winner too. Elsewhere, WWE's booking ranged between more solid storytelling and illogical nuisances that are actually hurting some matches on the road to Tampa. The good news? They've still got a few weeks to sort those out.

Here are all the 'Ups' and the 'Downs' from another blistering episode...
