7 Ups & 2 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Nov 27)

6. Belair vs. Bayley

Working with Bayley is the next stepping stone towards greatness for one Bianca Belair, and WWE should be applauded for resisting the urge to thrust her into the Women's Title scene ASAP. That would've been a mistake, and not only because babyface (tweener?) Sasha Banks is the current champion.

Belair needs a bit more seasoning on SmackDown before grasping her title chance.

Bayley is the best choice to oppose Bianca's rise too. She's fresh out the Women's Title picture herself, but has serious credibility with the audience because of her lengthy reign. A big pay-per-view win over Bayley, stamped with a possible Royal Rumble elimination in January, would go a long way to establishing the 'EST'.

Matches between this pair should also be solid. Bayley tends to work well with mobile peers (Sasha being a prime example) who can bump around for her, and she plays the quasi-cowardly heel very well. This is one mini-feud to keep a beady eye on.
