7 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Dark (Jan 5)

6. Kazarian Takes Frantic Four-Way

Building mid-level tag teams beneath the immediate title picture has been one of Dark's greatest strengths over the past few months. AEW did it again last night, pitting Frankie Kazarian, Angelico, Griff Garrison, and Darius Martin against each other in a four-way clash, and it was suitably chaotic, with the rules stipulating all four could work at once.

Kaz ended up pinning Griff Garrison for the win. There were storyline implications here, as The Hybrid 2 and SoCal Uncensored are on opposite sides of an eight-man on tonight's episode of Dynamite, and while not as spotty as some of Dark's multi-mans (Martin still found a way to dive onto a gathered mass of catchers), this was fun.
