7 Ups & 3 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Nov 19)

3. Killing Two Birds With One Stone

Once again, an Impact Wrestling show featured a wonderfully-orchestrated tag team match, with this one in question being a four way match as The Desi Hit Squad (or The Daisy Hit Squad, as commentary puts it), Reno Scum, The Deaners, and Dez and Wentz of The Rascalz went to town on one another.

Although it was a bit of a slow start, things soon picked up as both The Rascalz and The Deaners took to the skies, with Cousin Jake sending Adam Thornstowe flying over the top ropes with a release suplex on to everyone else at ringside. It would eventually be Dez and Wentz who picked up the three count here following their trademark Hot Fire Flame on Jake, but it didn't end there.

As Reno Scum continued their attack on The Rascalz following the bell, Trey entered to take the pair out, only to be ambushed himself by Ace Austin. The X Division Champion would knock out his Hard To Kill challenger with a piece of metal stuffed inside his cast, standing tall over all three Rascalz.

In typical Impact fashion, the multi-team match was fantastic once it finally picked up, and the aftermath also led to some hype for the X Division Championship match come 12 January. Ace Austin vs. Trey has all the potential to be an excellent encounter, but if they keep building towards it the way they are, it could be even better.
