WWE really are, inarguably, the best wrestling company in the world...when it comes to making video packages.

A cold open featuring brand new narration from John Cena over top of some of the greatest moments in company history was genuinely stirring - marrying the hard knock life of the current roster up with the thrilling sacrifices of those in the past, Cena was the perfect middleman to tie it all together.

What exactly it had to do with this brand new knockabout sister show, that wasn't totally clear, but as usual with WWE, it didn't actually matter.
