2. Indi Is Confused

The Candice LeRae heel turn is now into its third week, and Indi Hartwell is still apparently completely flummoxed by it.

LeRae battled Ivy Nile in a brief match Monday night that saw Candice toss her outside a couple of times and try to egg Indi on to attack her behind the referee’s back. When that failed, LeRae simply feigned an injury, lured Ivy into the corner, and pinned her with her feet on the ropes.

The whole time, Hartwell looked confused or conflicted by it. Nevermind that this has been going on for a few weeks now, aired on live television and available to watch on replay. Basically, fans are being asked to assume that Indi hasn’t had a single conversation with Candice about this, hasn’t thought about the cheating at all, and hasn’t formed a single opinion on this new attitude from her tag partner.

Even a backstage segment discussing this would be helpful to give some development. Otherwise, fans are forced to go on what they see at ringside, and Hartwell isn’t exactly conveying “conflicted friend torn by the situation.”
