7 Ups & 4 Downs For AEW Collision (Nov 25 - Results & Review)

3. This All Just Feels A Little Rushed

AEW Collision Luchasaurus Killswitch Adam Copeland
AEW

While we now know we'll be getting Adam Copeland vs. Christian Cage on the 6 December edition of AEW Dynamite from Montreal - well, providing Cage accepts Copeland's challenge - things just feel a little rushed and muddied right now for this rivalry.

The one-time Edge completely destroying Killswitch with a curb stomp to a steel chair and couple of conchairtos felt a little much. After all, the former Luchasaurus was seemingly swaying against Christian on Dynamite just a few days ago, showing that the dinosaur isn't quite as blindly following Cage as he once was.

Even if Copeland was tasked with destroying Killswitch, it feels a little early into this story to get to that point. In fact, it feels a little early to be setting up that first Copeland vs. Cage match, although that Montreal setting for Dynamite is clearly too good to turn down when it comes to these two Canadian legends locking horns. Also, one has to expect the rivalry between these two will rumble on for a few more months... possibly thanks to Nick Wayne's mom.

With his new moniker, Killswitch decimating the Boys in a handicap match was a strong way to highlight his brutality and dominance. To have him then taken out post-match by Copeland, in such a decisive fashion, felt like almost a heel move from Adam.

Maybe it's just your writer, but this past week has felt like a bit of a mess where Copeland, Cage, and the various other moving parts are concerned.
