7. Ellering Fells Hogan
Rachael Ellering vs. Kiera Hogan won’t be remembered this time next month, but it was still good. A considerable improvement on the night’s other knockouts match, anyway.
A good striking affair, Kiera hit her superkick almost immediately, with her run-around-the-ring corner dropkick also proving effective. Once Ellering fought back, though, there was no hope for ‘The Hottest Flame’. She was laid out with a nice running senton, with Kiera’s Face The Music finish evaded, before she ran into Rachael’s arms for a Black Hole Slam. She calls it the Bosh Woman Slam apparently, which gets an up honorary Up for popping your writer.
This was by no means bad, but they could have achieved more with the time they were given. Neither Jordynne Grace nor Tasha Steelz got involved, either during or after the match. With a Knockouts Tag Team Championships match looming next weekend, it needed that extra bit of dastardliness. That aside, a solid encounter.
