7. Rusev Squashes Aiden English

This has got to be the end of Aiden English vs. Rusev, right? 'The Bulgarian Brute' and partner Lana outfoxed their former ally a few weeks ago, and while 'The Shakespeare Of Song' gained a measure of revenge by costing Ru-Ru his World Cup qualifier against The Miz, he took a stiff shot to the b*llocks for his troubles. Now, his defeat is complete, having lost to Rusev in less than a minute-and-a-half last night.

It was a fun little squash match that started with the former United States Champion literally chasing English around the ring, leading into some floor brawling, a brief cut-off, Lana throwing a shoe at Aiden, and Rusev eventually finishing the job with the Machka Kick and Accolade.

A comprehensive victory, it offered little scope for continuation. Not that this storyline needs one, though. It's done. Over. Finished. Rusev can hopefully now move onto something substantial, while English, as entertaining as he is, will probably slot into an enhancement role.
