6. Something For Ace?

Last week, this column noted that Ace Austin had slipped down the cards quite a considerable amount since making his debut for Impact. After this week's instalment though, your writer is happy to write that things appear to be changing for Ace.

After he had defeated his MashUp Tournament partner Stone Rockwell in a fairly short contest, Ace was ambushed by Eddie Edwards. This all stemmed from Austin attempting to flirt with Eddie's wife Alisha on last week's episode. Who thought that would actually be leading to something?

Perhaps the most interesting part about all of this is that Alisha got into an argument with Eddie afterwards, going mad at her husband for making a scene out of something that she didn't view as being that important to their lives. It makes perfect sense for Alisha to be like this at the end of the day - Eddie's been a nightmare to deal with as of late for a good while, so good on her for being like this.

It certainly looks like something big is finally coming for Ace Austin but on the other hand, it could just be another chapter in the shaky relationship between the Edwards. Only time will tell for that one.
